our Oxford and sandy black pork

At Louise’s Farm Kitchen, everything begins with respect for the land and the animals we raise on it. Our Oxford and Sandy Black pork is a true reflection of that philosophy.
Known as the “Plum Pudding” pig for its distinctive sandy coat with black patches, the Oxford Sandy and Black is one of Britain’s oldest native breeds. Slow-growing and traditionally reared, these pigs develop exceptional marbling and depth of flavour that simply can’t be rushed. Their natural foraging instincts and calm temperament make them perfectly suited to our pasture-based system, where they have the space to roam, root, and grow at their own pace.
The result is pork with beautiful texture, rich succulence, and a depth of flavour that stands out whether simply roasted, slow-cooked, or cured. The fat is creamy and sweet, the meat tender and full-bodied — exactly as proper pork should be.
At Louise’s Farm Kitchen, we believe great food starts long before it reaches the plate. Our Oxford and Sandy Black pork represents our commitment to traditional breeds, high welfare, and honest, sustainable farming — bringing you pork with provenance, character, and unmistakable flavour.
