Our smoked ham hock is carefully cured and traditionally smoked to develop a deep, rich flavour and beautiful tenderness when slow-cooked.

Cut from quality pork and prepared with care, it’s a classic ingredient for creating comforting, hearty dishes.

When simmered gently, the meat becomes meltingly tender and full of smoky depth — perfect for pea and ham soup, lentil stews, ham hock terrine, or shredded through creamy mashed potatoes. The natural smokiness adds warmth and character to any dish.

A true kitchen staple for slow cooking and flavour-packed family meals.

Here at Louise’s Farm Kitchen, our pork is lovingly prepared in our on-farm butchery using traditional, native breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs — often known as the “Plum Pudding” pig for their distinctive colouring.

Slow-grown and reared with care, these heritage pigs are known for their exceptional marbling, depth of flavour, and beautifully tender meat. Their natural ability to lay down fine intramuscular fat creates pork that is succulent, richly flavoured, and perfect for both slow roasting and everyday cooking.

By butchering on-site, we ensure complete traceability, expert preparation, and the highest standards of freshness. From field to fork, every cut reflects our commitment to animal welfare, traditional farming methods, and outstanding quality.

The result is pork with real character — honest, heritage meat raised and prepared the way it should be.
